Graduate school and internship fair to be held March 5

Southwest Baptist University's Career Services is hosting a Graduate School and Internship Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, March 5, in McClelland Dining Facility located on SBU's Main Campus. Students and community members are invited to participate in the event.

The fair will provide opportunities for individuals to talk with graduate schools about education opportunities. Schools attending include Evangel University, Fontbonne University, Logan College of Chiropractic, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Southern Nazarene University, University of Missouri Kansas City, and Southwest Baptist's Master of Education, Master of Business Administration, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs. Southwest Baptist and St. John's School of Nursing and Health Sciences will also be in attendance to discuss their undergraduate program with those interested.

For those looking for internship or employment opportunities, more than 15 businesses will be present. Those attending include American National Property and Casualty Companies (ANPAC), Associated Electric Cooperative, Auto-Owners Insurance, Burrell Behavioral Health, Cerner, Duck Creek Technologies, Freeman Health System, Jack Henry and Associates, Key Rehabilitation, Lives Under Construction (LUC) Boys Ranch, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Mother's Refuge, Nebraska Book Company, Social Security Administration, Springfield Public Schools, and Wells Fargo.

Door prizes will be given away from the following donors: Breadeaúx Pizza, Coca-Cola, Electric Beach, IHOP, Java Station, Kansas City Chiefs, Kum & Go, Mid-Missouri Bank, Pizza Hut, Silver Dollar City, Super Lube, and The Medicine Shoppe.
