In a challenge described as "lock, load and light," six contestants must assemble a boat with seven planks to keep the boat together. They paddle out to sea, grab a torch, and paddle back. They must then remove the planks and bring them back to the start. The four other contestants solve a multi-layered puzzle. Once the puzzle is finished, the planks used to build the boat are used as a ladder to light the fire barrel.
The villains were behind in the building of the kayak and rowing out to sea, despite the kayak expertise of Coach. However, equanimity prevailed as they solved the puzzle much quicker than the heroes. The villains won the reward challenge.
At tribal council, "Sugar" Kiper was voted off for her poor performance in challenges, and for a clingy personality towards the men of the heroes tribe.
In upcoming episodes, expect to see the "shomance" grow between Coach and Jerri. Boston Rob also seems to have taken a liking towards Coach, and another alliance could possibly form. One thing is for sure, The Dragon Slayer returns to, "trust no one, and slay everyone."
