Vocal major competes in Naftzger Auditions

Traci Jackson, a junior vocal music major from Sikeston competed in the semi-final round of the 2009 Naftzger Young Artists Auditions sponsored by the Wichita Symphony Orchestra at Wichita State University on April 24th.
The contest was limited to residents or students, ages 20-28, The required repertoire was 12 songs and arias representing various style periods.
Traci was one of four undergraduates competing, the remaining singers being masters and doctoral students. Her accompanist was freshman Michael Womack from
