SBU welcomes six new faculty members

Six new faculty members were added to the Southwest Baptist University for the 2005-2006 school year.

Assistant Professor of Art Morgan Gallatin comes to SBU from Central Missouri State University where he was Assistant Professor of Art and he also served as the Gallery Director. Mr. Gallatin earned his BA in Arts and Music here at SBU.

Instructor of Computer and Information Sciences Jeffery Kimball hales from Blue Springs, Mo. where he taught High School Mathematics and Computer Programming. Mr. Kimball also is an alumn of SBU. He graduated with a BA in Mathematics, and he earned a Masters of Science from Central Missouri State University.

Assistant Professor of Philosophy Robert Klostermeyer comes from Missouri Western where he served as Assistant Professor and acting Dean of Student Development. He earned his Juris Doctorate and his BA from the University of Flordia. He has been an attorney since 1983.

Assistant Professor of Philosophy Zachary Manis comes to SBU from Baylor University where he taught Philosophy and an adjunct professor. He is a PHD candidate at Baylor, and did his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame.

Director and Instructor of the University Success and Director of Dual Credit, Dana Steward was a Middle School/High School principal in the Halfway R-3 school district. While there, she also served as curriculum director. Ms. Steward earned her BA in Biology and her Masters in Education at SBU.

Instructor of Health, Physical Education and Recreation Joseph Wooderson retired from the Springfield public School system where he had been employed since 1979, as a teacher, coach and principal. Wooderson is also a SBU graduate, earning his BA in Physical Education.
