"I really enjoyed singing and praying with the other students around me, knowing that we're all on the same team and that we have the support of other Christians around us," freshman Marita McCampbell said.

"I went to See You at the Pole because it's another good event/possibility to worship God, thank him for what he's done in our lives and pray for the school year," freshman Carla Graves said.
By going Wednesday morning, students got a chance to meet new Christian friends and fellowship with them. About 50 students showed up along with Dr. Taylor and a couple of other faculty members. Lee Midget, prayer leader, gave students bible verses to think about during prayer and worship.

"I went to SYATP my senior year of high school in America, because they don't have it in Italy. I really liked it. I got to meet people that became some of my good Christian friends," Graves said.
"I attended SYATP since I was in middle school. The last couple of years, our FCA sponsored it at our high school, and I helped plan it," McCampbell said.
With a fresh school year, the event was a great way to kick off the year, with prayer for this campus, the country and the world.
"Even though I may not see the impact of my prayers, I still know that it's there," McCampbell said. "God was listening to our prayers, and He will take action. It was also just a great way to start the day; in prayer, worship, and fellowship of other believers."
