Since 1980, the NFL has held the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii. From the first all-star event in 1938, it has been held after the actual football season ends. This year, however, the NFL made changes, big changes. For the first time ever the Pro Bowl was held the week before the Super Bowl.
Southwest Baptist hosted Missouri Southern on Saturday night in the teams' second match up of the season. The first game SBU came out on top 83-67, a major win for SBU after the dismissal of several players. Again facing adversity without the head coach, Jeff Guiot, and playing against Missouri Southern, the Bearcats rallied and came together for a key victory.
The SBU Bearcats were picked for 10th in the 2010 MIAA Baseball Coaches Poll, the conference office announced Friday. Two-time defending MIAA champion and 2009 NCAA Division II national runner-up Emporia State was selected as preseason number one. The baseball Bearcats of coach Sam Berg received 18 points, ahead of Truman, who were 11th with 11 points.

The annual SBU Hall of Fame is a very prestigious and fun-filled night, with plenty of enjoyment for everyone in attendance. The night will consist of four people being inducted into the Hall of Fame, seniors being recognized, and the unveiling of a new Hall of Fame site.
Southwest Baptist Lady Bearcats were down by nine at halftime to Missouri Southern and came back for the 55-50 win. The Bearcats got off to a slow start, shooting an unpleasant average of 23 percent from the floor in the first half, but that didn't stop the Bearcats from roaring back and giving their all on defense to get the victory.
