The midwestern band of brothers, Remedy Drive, visited campus once again on Monday. The group is comprised of David, lead vocals and keyboard; Paul, lead guitar; Philip, bass and Daniel Zach, drums. The group released "Daylight is Coming" with Word Records in 2008.
Most students probably cannot see how a quilter can be a rebel, but for artist Susan Leslie Lumsden she considers herself one. The exhibit "Magic Time" in Driskill Gallery definitely portrays the rebelliousness of the traditional quilter. "I often break 'rules' that I find meaningless and I tend to work in my own color palettes," said Lumsden on her website.
Southwest Baptist University department of music will host the 36th annual Church Music Workshop Feb. 4-6. The workshop is created for full and part-time church music leadership and accompanists. Leading a selection of sessions are Robert Sterling, Dr. Duncan Couch, Jeff Bennett and John Francis.
The theatre department is in full swing as it prepares for its upcoming productions, "Godspell" and "Doubt." The theatre department will present "Godspell," March 10-14. The show will feature freshmen Jeff Young, Dani Petersohn; sophomores Sam Thomas, Amy Marrs, Patrick Mattia, Levi Fox; juniors David Ezzell, Alyssa Phinney, Lauren Potts and senior Adam Keller.
